Who, me???????

Well...I'm originally from Bloomfield, NJ, a darling little working class town right outside of Newark, NJ with lots of diners, pizzerias and guys named Tony. The last episode of the Sopranos was shot at Holstens, a little ice cream shop up the street from my childhood home. I grew up surrounded by tons of character and characters and I always knew I wanted to be a part of telling people's stories. Or just finding a way to move far away from my darling little hometown.

I went to Emerson college in Boston MA with an Acting scholarship but dropped out when I realized I had to do homework. I then moved to NYC to study with the legendary Uta Hagen. She made me do homework, too. After studying with Ms Hagen and briefly working as the very first waitress in Little Italy (traditionally Mulberry Street only hired male waiters) I packed a back pack and drove with some strangers in a van out to Los Angeles.  Thankfully, I was not murdered and they dropped me off at a pay phone in Burbank when we got to LA. I called a girl I met in college to pick me up. Been here ever since.

I've appeared and guest starred in dozens of commercials and television shows over the years , did 4 seasons of Reno 911 as my own original characters, Bucky the Crippled Stripper and Principal Manderville, starred in the hit reality show My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance for FOX and got to do a couple of TV pilots with the likes of Ellen Degeneres, Jason Alexander and Frank Caliendo. I also like to hike.

Despite the rumor that there is no theater in LA, I've performed on many stages around town with award winning theater companies, The Next Arena, West Coast Ensemble, Theater Neo, The Lost Studio and was a regular improviser at the famed Improv Olympic theater in Hollywood. I also use my crockpot to make soup all year round.

When I'm not blinding myself with the big lights of Hollywood, I'm running my own company Waltz Through Life  specializing in Ballroom dance instruction and dance therapy for seniors including those suffering from dementia. I created a ballroom inspired chair dance class that's wheelchair friendly. I also teach Acting and Improv workshops to kids and adults. I also have a dog. I also love sunsets and feeling the rain hit me really hard in the face.
